Have you ever used K-cups without a Keurig machine?

That is, just opening the K-cup and pouring the powder into a mug or styrofoam cup.

It should taste the same, right?

That’s not how it works, its not instant coffee, it’s coffee grounds.

Paint over lids of 10 of those, 10 normal K-cups. Begin.

This could be the case for the hot chocolate mixes and teas (although you’d still want a strainer or something for tea leaves).

Coffee won’t work.

If you want decent instant coffee, try this stuff:

http://www.amazon.com/Maxim-Mocha-Go…

Compared to other instant coffees I’ve had, this stuff is great - it’s coffee, cream/milk (powdered) and sugar. Not too sweet, and the coffee is very mellow. It’s generic, in that it tastes like a decent cup of coffee. It’s no local coffee house but I’d easily take it over other instant coffees and even many widely available whole bean coffees you grind at home.

The grounds don’t actually dissolve sweetie. You’ll just get bunch of dregs.

Is that real? Googling it gave me this funny page here

I know they have K-cups of Coke, but it doesn’t seem worth it since a can from the vending machine is cheaper. You can even get K-cup soup!

We got reusable filter cups that allow you to fill with your own coffee grounds. Its brilliant.

The other week our Keurig broke and I wanted my coffee. After some experimenting and a pour-over method of brewing, I found about 2 K-cups dumped into the pour-over filter will give you something close to the taste but a little stronger in texture. One K-cup worked, but it was very weak.

I can vouch for the soup. Just run a cycle with nothing in it after. My coworker didn’t really enjoy tomato espresso.

This is actually the only coffee I keep in my house.

Kinja'd!!!

Same idea, just add hot water. the milk(powder) and sugar is already in there. I find it damn good for a super cheap instant coffee.
